Acest proiect vizează două instituții de învățământ din România și Bulgaria: Liceul de Artă I. Șt. Paulian, din Drobeta Turnu Severin și școala Sfântul Cyril și Metodiu din Vidin. Proiectul are ca scop :
- Întărirea cooperării dintre instituțiile educaționale de la granița româno-bulgară;
- Promovarea schimbului cultural;
- Îmbunătățirea infrastructurii educaționale prin investiții în echipamente muzicale, arte plastice și de dans;
- Încurajarea valorilor europene și parteneriatului transfrontalier.
În perioada 11-14 mai 2026 au avut loc la Vidin o serie de activități culturale și schimburi de experiență, care au marcat începutul activităților transfrontaliere ale proiectului. La manifestări au participat autorități publice locale din Drobeta Turnu Severin și Vidin, precum si reprezentanti ai unităților de învățământ împlicate în proiect, respectiv Liceul de Arte I. Șt. Paulian (RO) și școala Sf. Cyril și Metodiu (BG).
Ziua 1 – 🎶🇷🇴🇧🇬11.05.2026, the first activity of the international exchange camp in Vidin took place, a cross-border activity organized within the project “Two Voices and One Purpose” – ROBG00211, funded through the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme.
The concert took place in the concert hall of the Sinfonietta in Vidin, in a warm and energetic atmosphere, where the students of “St. Cyril and St. Methodius” School from Vidin and the students of the “I. St. Paulian” Art High School from Drobeta-Turnu Severin delighted the audience with beautiful musical and dance performances. 🎼💃🕺
Through activities like these, young people have the opportunity to discover common cultural values, build friendships, and strengthen cooperation between the communities of Romania and Bulgaria. 🤝✨

Ziua 2 -🎶🇷🇴🇧🇬 12.05.2026, the second activity of the international exchange camp in Vidin took place within the project “Two Voices and One Purpose” – ROBG00211, funded through the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme.
The day began with the official welcome at “Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius” Secondary School, where the participants were warmly greeted by the hosts.
The activities continued with the “Music” art workshop, where students had the opportunity to discover different musical instruments, perform together, and share the joy of music through joint singing and artistic collaboration. 🎼🎤
The participating schools also presented their cities, cultural heritage, and local traditions, highlighting the beauty and diversity of the Romanian and Bulgarian communities.
The program concluded with a meeting with the school principal, strengthening the partnership and cooperation between the educational institutions involved in the project. 🤝✨

Ziua 3 -🇷🇴🤝🇧🇬 The third day of activities within the international exchange camp of the project “Two Voices and One Goal” – ROBG00211, funded through the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme, was filled with music, art, and cultural discoveries! ✨
Today, 13.05.2026, the participants started the day with a special educational concert performed by the chamber ensemble of Vidin Symphony 🎻🎼 in the school concert hall.
🎵 The guests enjoyed works by renowned composers such as Purcell, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Boccherini, Bizet, Johann Strauss, Bartók, Hristoskov, and Marin Goleminov, while Bartók’s “Romanian Folk Dances” represented a heartfelt musical greeting dedicated to the Romanian participants 🇷🇴💐.
👏 Under the direction of Victor Krumov, the concert became a true celebration of music, culture, and friendship between Romania and Bulgaria. ❤️
After this artistic experience, the participants explored the beauty and cultural heritage of Vidin by visiting the Baba Vida Fortress and the Nikola Petrov Art Gallery 🏰🎨.
Inspired by the history and symbols of the city, the students then took part in a creative plein air activity themed “Cultural Heritage, Landmarks and Symbols”, expressing their talent and imagination through art. ✍️🌟
A memorable day in which music, history, and creativity brought together young people from both countries and strengthened the friendship between them through culture and shared experiences! 🌍✨

Ziua 4 – 🎨🎶 Today marked the final day of the International Camp project “Two Voices, One Purpose”, implemented within the Interreg VI-A Romania–Bulgaria Programme 🇷🇴🤝🇧🇬
Participants took part in art workshops dedicated to Bulgarian folk dances 💃 and wind instruments 🎺🎵, where they had the opportunity to discover Bulgarian traditions, music, and culture in an interactive and inspiring way ✨
🖌️ Part of the program included a plein air session in the park near the Turkish Post Office, where students created artworks inspired by the atmosphere and cultural environment of the city of Vidin 🌳🏛️
😊 The camp ended with very positive emotions, new friendships 🤝, and unforgettable memories 📸, leaving all participants eager for future initiatives and shared cultural experiences 🌍💙
